It is critical to identify students who may be struggling throughout a given term. Consider sending students a series of short instruments each term designed to identify what students may benefit from additional support.  

 As a result of gathering the data from these 2-question instruments, staff can learn:

  • The current status of students
  • Which students may benefit from additional support or outreach
  • Which students may benefit from financial counseling
  • Which students may be at risk of transferring or stopping out

To set up these surveys, campuses can build them as an Administration. The responses from these instruments can then trigger alerts in Beacon so that a staff member may take appropriate action.
